The GED computer-based tests contain multiple-choice questions that assess your ability which will determine your success and knowledge expected of high school graduates.

In addition to the multiple-choice questions, the Writing Skills Test includes an essay section. In this section, you are asked to write an essay on an assigned topic. The topics are designed to be very general.
