SAT Registration for International Students

SAT is available worldwide. You can chose for a suitable date and register for the test. There are no special requirements to take the test. However to appear for SAT you need to submit your proof of Identity. Following given list of acceptable documents as proof of identity outside USA

Egypt
The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid:
  • Government-issued ID from the country in which you are testing
  • Current passport from any country
  • No other identification is accepted for entrance to the test center.
  • If you travel to another country to test, you have to provide a passport as identification.
Ghana
  • The only acceptable form of identification is a valid passport with your name, photo, and signature.
Hong Kong
  • If you are testing in Hong Kong, please do not contact the test center. You can find more information on the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority website.
  • Waitlist status requests are not permitted.
  • Students testing at the Asia World Expo test center and other HKEAA test centers are not able to change from the SAT to SAT with Essay (or vice versa) on the day of the test.
India
  • Acceptable forms of identification are either a valid passport with your name, photograph, and signature, or a valid Aadhar card with your name and photograph.
  • Sunday testing is not available.
Jordan

The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid:
  • Government-issued ID from the country in which you are testing
  • Current passport from any country
  • No other identification is accepted for entrance to the test center.
  • If you travel to another country to test, you have to provide a passport as identification.
Korea
The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid:
  • Government-issued ID from the country in which you are testing
  • Current passport from any country
  • No other identification is accepted for entrance to the test center. If you travel to another country to test, you have to provide a passport as identification.
  • Waitlist status requests are not permitted.
Macau
  • Waitlist status requests are not permitted.
Nepal
  • The only acceptable form of identification is a valid passport with your name, photo, and signature.
Nigeria
  • Waitlist status requests are not permitted.
  • The only acceptable form of identification is a valid passport with your name, photo, and signature.
Pakistan
  • The only acceptable form of identification is a valid passport with your name, photo, and signature.
  • Sunday testing is not available.
Singapore
  • Waitlist status requests are not permitted.
Thailand
The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid:
  • Government-issued ID from the country in which you are testing
  • Current passport from any country
  • If you travel to another country to test, you have to provide a passport as identification.
  • Waitlist status requests are not permitted.
United Arab Emirates
The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid:
  • Government-issued ID from the country in which you are testing
  • Current passport from any country
  • No other identification is accepted for entrance to the test center.

Vietnam
The only acceptable forms of identification are a valid:
