CLEP Fees
The CLEP cost is $93.
Make sure you use your name as it appears on your official ID. Pay with a debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or JCB). Contact a CLEP test center nearby to schedule your exam. The test center may charge you an additional administration fee, usually around $25.
CLEP Exams are refundable for up to 7 days from the date of purchase, with the exception of redeemed tests.
CLEP Official Study Guides that are in new, unused, and in resalable condition are refundable within 30 days of the order date with a copy of the packing slip.
CLEP Examination Guides are refundable within 7 days of the purchase date. The customer will be required to submit a letter of destruction to process the refund of a CLEP e-guide.
CLEP Fee Waiver: No examination fee for military personnel and civilian employees (with proper military ID).
Test fees must be paid by valid credit or debit card (preferred method of payment) or a check or money order made payable to the College-Level Examination Program.
Administration Fees: Most of the test centers charge a non-refundable administration fee directly payable to the institution. Since, different institutions have different fee policy; therefore it is advised to contact the test center.
DANTES-funded test-takers: Candidates only pay the test center administration fee if they take the test at college test center which is not situated on a base or sponsored by a military base. Therefore, it is always good to contact the test center directly.
